What's a 'CRIT' good for? Its not like WAR. A 'CRIT' can be as good a friend as P-Nut Butter.
I've gotten together some artists who wanted to do 'Critiques' of each others work to add some accountability to our otherwise solitary studio lifestyles. I admit I get out to see some great exhibitions. But I would rather stay in my studio and paint. I don't live in a hot artist community like Santa Fe or Taos or the like but I will some day. So I do the next best thing. Contact some artist people, young and old and in between and send each other your work at least once a week. There are artist communities all over the world and the internet shortens the drive and hauling the artwork around. At $2.80 a gal. for gasoline looks like I'll be drivin' my VAIO for some time to come.
