A recent trip to New Mexico generated this series of works from Santa Fe and Taos. I was influenced by the 'katsina's'
and the lore of the area. Every shop one could go in these figures pervaded. I found them not only colorful but novel subject matter for a 'Santa Fe/Taos' series. I've always thought of living in NM and I am getting closer to that dream. The locals are real and wonderful people. They are true individuals and speak their mind.
